Check your free space on the partition eve is installed on. I was getting error 29 with latest patch and it was due to there only being 300 odd megs free. I uninstalled a game freeing up 4gb and the patch ran fine. The full client not downloading...

I had the same error, in my case it was due to not enough free space on the partition I have EvE installed on. Freeing up a few Gb's did the trick. Obviously someone forgot to type in a few lines of code to check for sufficient disk space before ...
